Let’s Put This to Rest
The Royal Press Office had this to say today about the “hug” that Michelle Obama gave Queen Elizabeth II: “It was a mutual and spontaneous display of affection and appreciation between the Queen and Michelle Obama,”
Who started this and how did it end up being the news of the day? I suspect it was a Tweet from the RNC which seems to be watching e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e m-o-v-e the Obamas make e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e d-a-y so they can slowly chip away at their image. Unfortunately, the “liberal media” is all too receptive and willing to spend time covering crap like this because it’s an inexpensive way to fill the 24/7 news cycle – replay that video over and over and over again.

What would you do if you managed a business news network that nobody watched even amidst the worst financial crisis in decades? That wasn’t seen as credible? Why, you’d throw your anchors together and form a rock band, what else!

Jim Cramer was on Morning Joe today and he had some very good news: “We are in a situation where the worst is over.”
