CNN Calls Fox News Out on Contributing to Gun Violence
Jason Linkins at the Huffington Post alerts us to comments Rick Sanchez made today on CNN about Fox News promulgating gun violence. Hurray!
Linkins moans about Sanchez’ “second hand observations” but you know what? I don’t care. It’s about time the “liberal media” broke the sound barrier about what Fox is doing – imho – calling for the the assassination of Barack Obama. I’m glad someone is trying to pry a crack open about this heretofore unmentionable topic. Hopefully the crack Sanchez opened today will get wider.
No Jobs for a Job Fair
The Glenwood Springs Colorado Workforce Center (near Vail and Aspen) planned to hold a job fair this Saturday:
The Workforce Center sent out 300 flyers to employers advertising the job fair and inviting them to sign up for booths. Five to seven employers were interested in attending the job fair, but then most of those dropped out…
The Vail/Aspen area gets a lot of attention because of their winter sports but it’s packed in the summer too. Think spillover from Rocky Mountain National Park, Dinosaur National Monument and Mesa Verde. There should be plenty of jobs – seasonal though they may be – but I guess not.
This is bad.

The Jerusalem Post is reporting today that, “President Barack Obama will celebrate Passover Thursday night with staff and friends in what is believed to be the first White House Seder attended by an American president.”
Isn’t that astonishing? That this is believed to be the first time a president has attended a Seder in the White House? My mind is blown at times by how uptight we Americans can be.
