Fox News Won’t Air Obama’s Wednesday Night Press Conference

(Upated below.)
From the AP: Fox sticking with schedule instead of Obama.
Wonder if they refused to air any of Bush’s press conferences. (Are you kidding! They went live to him when he was picking his nose, much less holding a press conference.) Stupid question but for those of you who blindly and ignorantly believe that Fox is “fair and balanced,” here’s what I got when I asked:
This for web pages:
And this for news pages:

Gee. Seems to me that a presidential news conference fits into the definition of “news,” and I though (though I know something else) Fox was a “news” station.
Ultimately this is a complement to Obama. His poll numbers are too high and he’s too compelling when he speaks in public, at least as far as the wingers are conserned. So the less visibility Fox can give him, the better (in their small minds). They’re scared some of the 27%-ers might, just might, start to find him attractive.
Not only that, if Fox’s audience sees the presser live, Fox (the cable version that is) might not be able to lie to them about what Obama said.
Updated: Apparently, Fox didn’t carry a prime-time “Bush speech” in November, 2001.

2 points:
1) Fox News Channel is the “Fair and Balanced” station, not Fox the entertainment network. This story is about the entertainment network. Fox News Channel and Business Network will both carry Obama’s press conference.

2) Google News only searches articles added in the last 30 days. Bush’s administration ended more than 30 days ago, thus they haven’t held any press conferences in the past 30 days. You quoted your search terms so only that exact phrasing would match.
For older articles you have to use the archive search. After a quick few minutes I found this:

I’m impressed that you approved my comment. Thanks for that.
Why do you think I’m associated/affiliated/in support of Fox? I provided evidence in support of my claims, but didn’t spend a lot of time researching. If anything I posted is false I hope you’ll point it out.

Far as I can tell, nothing you posted is false.
The reason I wrote what I wrote is because your comment reminded me of the thousands I got while monitoring Fox at the News Hounds for the last five years. Nothing personal.
