Scott’s “Songbird Selections” Bird Food?
This ad for Scott’s “Songbird Selections” bird food is airing in my area.
Sorry Scotts, but I just can’t get my mind around feeding birds food made by a company that has built its fortune on killings things that grow.
“Activist Judges”
Given Justice David Souter’s announcement yesterday that he will retire from the bench, the tired old phrase, “activist judges,” has already resurfaced.
Bear in mind that the definition of an activist judge is any judge appointed by a Democrat. Period. Judges appointed by Republicans, of course (I say in jest), are never “activists judges.”

Wall Street Hates Democrats?
April was Wall Street’s best month in nine years.
Think about that for a minute: All during the Bush administration there was never as good a month on Wall Street as last month.
