I was thinking about that ad today and I recalled how what seemed like every single Republican with any name recognition whatsoever went on the tube or ran to the nearest reporter to blast it. Oh, it was just shameful! Hate speech! UnAmerican! Unpatriotic! Yet we’re coming off of a week of racist, sexist hate speech directed at Sonia Sotomayor and the murder of a Kansas City doctor who was operating absolutely within the law (abortion laws have been on the books for 30+ years now) but what do we hear from the same people?

A Little Rock, Arkansas Army recruiter was fatally shot this morning in what sounds like a deliberate shooting.
It’ll be interesting to see if the “liberal media” expresses more outrage over that than it has the murder of Dr. Tiller.

This morning while I was on my walk a Red Fox, with a tail that looked like a giant, fluffy bottle brush, ran across the road about 20 feet ahead of me. Gorgeous sight. I took it as a good omen.
