ALAHO AKBAR!
I’m in solidarity with the people of Iran tonight. Big things are happening there. For all intents and purposes — a coup. The people are enraged. What happens in the next few days and weeks will have an impact on all of us for a long time.
The 24/7 U.S. cable “news” networks are on their usual weekend break (in their universe, the world stops on Saturday and Sunday), so go to Andrew Sullivan for the latest. His coverage is the best I’ve found. (And reading him – the title of this post will make sense.)
