#CNNFail – Again
This is CNN on Twitter as of 11:19 p.m ET today. Its most recent tweet is four hours old?

Fox News is a Week Behind in its Coverage of the Protests in Iran
Here we are, eight days into what looks like a revolution in Iran. Eight days. Yet Fox “News” aired this chyron at 6:06 p.m. ET today:
Violence Erupting in Iran Amid Anti-Government Protests.
What? This just happened?
Guess it’s gotten to the point where they can’t ignore it anymore so they’re starting from scratch, and they’ve got to give their audience the impression that they’re on top of this “breaking news.”
What a sorry excuse for a “news” organization. Watch Fox and be stupid.
CNN’s Pitiful Iran Coverage
I’m trying to keep up with what the brave protesters in Iran are doing today. Still think Andrew Sullivan’s coverage is the best. He’s putting up everything he can find — from video to tweets, some of it unsubstantiated, of course — and letting the reader draw their own conclusion about what’s happening.
Meanwhile, I’ve dipped into CNN a few times but they are spending a lot of time talking about how reporters aren’t being allowed to report from Iran. True, but there are other ways of getting information, which they obviously aren’t very good at doing. They’ve come to rely so heavily on the use of video (they showed one from Thursday a few minutes ago) that they’ve forgotten how to report news without it. As a result, their coverage is essentially void of actual content aside from a little morsel here or there.
