The Difference Between 70,000 Protesters and 2,000,000 Protesters

Yesterday I read somewhere that the Washington, D.C. fire department estimated the crowd at the tea party protest to be in the neighborhood of 70,000.  I also read that one of the organizations that helped put on the rally estimated the attendees at 1.5 million.  Then today I read that Michelle Malkin is claiming 2 million.  The difference between 70,000 and 2 million is huge.  Check it out.

I tend to think the fire department, albeit a socialist commie pinko entity, is the more reliable source here.
