Wingers Slink Away From Bragging About Tea Parties
If the wingers were happy about what happened in D.C. on Saturday they’d be talking about it today. Right now. You know them. They can drag a topic out for days on end and get the rest of the “liberal media” to do so too.
But no. Check any winger website or Twitter feed and ACORN is, sigh, the new new thing. But that’s significant because Saturday was a bust and they know it. If it weren’t, they’d still be on it.
Glenn-Beck-The-Marionette
Posted at 9:14 p.m. ET on 9/14/09:
This is Glenn Beck’s last Tweet as of the date and time of this post. It harkens back to Saturday, the day of the “humongous” Tea Party in D.C.

Can’t wait to hear what those “stats on DC” are. Oh, and what about “the way out?” Woohoo! Beck’s gonna lead us to the promised land.
But, ah, no. Nothing. I guess Beck-the-marionette’s still waiting for his corporate sponsors to tell him what to say, no?
Fox News’ Ratings Are Up? Not Exactly
Polls, polls, polls. I tear my hair out when I think about them but I’m glad someone has the time to dig around — like E&P of Neilsen Business Media. Their conclusion about that new Pew poll that everyone’s talking about?
Despite all the hype about Fox News’ growing popularity, the survey found that its favorable rating had declined from 61% to 55% from July 2007 to 2009 while CNN actually climbed a bit from 50% to 60%. This trend held true for unfavorable ratings as well.
Nature is so Amazing
Check out the size of this jelly fish. Man oh man, I ‘d hate to meet up with that thing, though I bet it’s beautiful in person
Glenn Beck Ad Boycott Costing Fox “News” $600,000 Per Week?
Apparently so, according to Media Matters and Color of Change, which initiated the boycott.
Dylan Ratigan – My New Hero
I love people who live, learn, grow and, above all, tell the truth. My new fave on that front is MSNBC business news reporter, Dylan Ratigan, who has the guts to speak truth to power.
Is Howard Kurtz a Birther?
My God the Washington Post is a mess that just keeps on getting into an even bigger mess. The latest installment? Howard Kurtz, its “media critic,” wrote today, in this piece, that:
The Boston Globe has an interesting piece from Obama’s native country on attempts to cash in…
So obviously, Kurtz has been drinkin’ the Kool-Aid too. Seems that certain circles in D.C. and New York are marinating in it.
Can’t wait to if, when and how the Post addresses this shameful mistake.
CIGNA — “A Business of Caring”
If you watched Brave New Films’ video, below, you know that tagline is enough to make you sick. So, suggest a new one here and if yours wins, BNF will create a new corporate logo, post it on Facebook and see to it that CIGNA’s execs get a copy.
Sick for Profit
Watch Brave New Films’ mini-documentary (5.8 minutes) about the “health care” industry below. It was released just minutes ago.
