Boulder Daily Camera = Twitter Fail
My city council voted (@ roughly 8:30 p.m. MT today) on an issue that I’m very interested in (height ordinances on pop-ups), but I wasn’t around to hear what the vote was.
So I looked to my local newspaper’s tweets for into:

Nada. Nothing. Zero. Zip. (As of 9:11 p.m. MT.)

What Happened to the Change of Seasons? QVC’s Selling Christmas Stuff Already

Sad. SAD! What has happened to us?
Addicted to Information and Facts – Not to Hate and Anger
Mr. SayItAin’tSo is on vacation this week so we’re doing stuff in the garden, with the dogs and with the cars (long story) — eating out a lot, as in sampling new restaurants — and I’m thinking ahead to tomorrow when I’ll be at the food bank.
So tired of all the hate and anger on the “news.”
I’ve been addicted to information and facts since I was a kid but we’ve morphed into a “news” sphere that’s hard for me to take for more than an hour or two.
Hope to take a drive into the mountains this weekend to see the fall leaves (against what is predicted to be a crystal blue sky).
Happy weekend everyone.
Let’s try to “stay informed” again come Monday.

Americans Aren’t Buying Republican Scare Tactics Surrounding Health Care Reform
Yesterday Bloomberg released a new poll on Obama, health care and the economy. Among the questions asked were several about the fear phrases Republicans are tossing around about what health care reform would include:

Americans aren’t as dumb as Republicans think. They know what’s going on: “Distortion/scare tactic” was the big winner.
Why Republicans Are Going After ACORN
ACORN helps poor people with tax problems, mortgage issues and with registering to vote. Most poor people vote Democratic.
