Rep. Steve King’s Tea Party March On Congress That Wasn’t

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) announced yesterday that at 1:00 p.m. ET today, on the steps of the Capitol, he would, “join his Republican colleagues and Americans from across the nation seeking to have their voices heard in the health care debate for a second House Call press event. Republicans and other participants will deliver a message that the American people reject a government takeover of health care.”

I’ve been flipping between the three “news” channels — Fox, CNN and MSNBC — for 40 minutes now and haven’t seen a thing about it. I know it wasn’t cancelled because it’s still at the top of the list of the “latest headlines” on King’s website.

It must have been a bust.  Maybe there was a breakdown in communication between King and David Koch.
