Take Heed Obama

Frank Rich’s column is worth reading today.  His basic premise is that, considering last Tuesday’s elections, the message from voters is not that they are turning toward the Republicans; it is that Obama hasn’t brought the change he said he would.  “The system is going back to the way it was with a vengeance, against a backdrop of despair.”  And if Obama doesn’t get off the business-as-usual train, the country may very well reject him and his party not necessarily because it is attracted to Republicans, but because of sheer exasperation.

I think that’s true.  I feel it in myself.
