Paula Deen is on Huckabee

Paula Deen, America’s soft and fuzzy mom, who “asserts her family values ahead of her cooking values,” is on Huckabee tonight. Huckabee is of course on Fox and Fox ain’t no friend of families, never mind their claim to be “lookin’ out for the folks.” Fox stands in the vanguard, protecting all things corporate, so Deen is showing a lack of scruples along the lines of her endorsement of Smithfield meat products a few years ago:
It is a horrible place to work, even for the meatpacking industry: 5,500 employees work in an environment characterized by fear, threats, abuse, and bullying from management. Injuries have gone up by 200% since 2003. The National Labor Relations Board and a U.S. Court found that Smithfield engaged in intimidating, firing, unlawfully arresting, and even violently assaulting employees who wanted a voice on the job.
Is all that butter hindering Deen’s ability to think? Then again, maybe all that money is, kinda like it is for Fox.

That’s some mighty stong KOOLAID you’re drinking there. I really feel sorry for you. I hope you get well soon. Society needs intelligent citizens, not lunatics.
