The Meaning of the Senate’s Saturday Night “Vote on the Health Care Bill”
Let’s be really, really clear here. The Senate’s “vote on the health care bill” set for Saturday night (@ 8:00 p.m.) is a vote on a motion to debate the bill. In other words, the Senate is going to vote on whether or not to talk about it. That’s it. Period.
If they — all of them, Democrats and Republicans — can’t agree to freakin’ TALK — this isn’t about passing any laws, it’s just about TALKING — my hair will burst into flames. I mean, come on!

Sarah Palin’s grandson’s other grandmother — Levi Johnston’s mother, Sherry Johnston — was sentenced to three years in prison today for dealing OxyContin.
Good luck to her but man, I’ve gotta say — there’s never a dull moment in that family, is there? If I were them, I’d be prayin’ for a dull year.
New Fox Business Network Ad Highlights Don Imus?
I saw a new ad for the Fox Business Network (FBN) tonight. Actually, I think it was the first ad I’ve ever seen for it. Anyway, the announcer said FBN was “one powerful network, not afraid to mix it up.” By that I take it to mean that FBN isn’t afraid to “mix it up” — obfuscate — so-called business news for a has-been, two-bit shock jock.

One thousand people had wristbands and were “officially” in line to have their book(s) signed, but Palin left with 100 of them still standing there. She signed 900 books but she couldn’t push through and sign the last 100? Verges on cruel if you ask me.
