Fox “News” Kicks Off a Slow Week by Pandering to Frightened Fundamentalists

Chances are, on any given day, you could find a group of 100 people — 100 people — protesting something, somewhere in the U.S.  In my area teachers are protesting their contract with the local school district and in California students are protesting tuition rate hikes.  So it’s interesting indeed to note which protests Fox “News” chooses to highlight. (Don’t forget:  It ignored the millions of people around the globe who protested the invasion of Iraq.)

Below is Fox’s protest du jour, and the headline on its website tonight. Shocking, isn’t it, that it just happens to comport with Fox’s meme about how hippie liberals are forcing sex, drugs and rock-and-roll (and socialist health care) on innocent, hardworking fundamentalists patriotic Americans?

BTW, click on the graphic and you go here.  And bravo to the library board.  Keep that magazine on the shelves.  If some kids and/or their parents object to it, ah, don’t read it.
