Mark Halperin — Remember His Face
I mocked wingers in my last two posts because it seems to me that the proverbial line that we do not cross when we criticize someone has disappeared.
More evidence of that is one Mark Halperin — a guy you see on TV all the time.
The next time you see him, oh, say on Morning Joe, bear in mind that he put up a photoshopped image of Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu, a Democrat, depicting her with semen in her hair.
This is Mark Halperin — MARK HALPERIN (again, check out his picture) – a hotshot TIME magazine guy — a member of the punditocracy who we’re all supposed to listen to — because He Is a Wise Man. Yet he acts like a 13-year-old boy whose only thought in life is to masturbate under the covers to a girly magazine, hoping his parents won’t catch him.

Speaking of Michelle Obama being a monkey, I thought it only fair and balanced to slap that headline up.
Laura Bush is a Transvestite
Maybe, maybe not. This “Republican Faith Chat” site says no because, “Mrs. Bush’s height reflects her place in a Christian marriage — she is less than her husband.” But, as for Michelle Obama?
Now, see how ‘Michelle’ Obama is the same height as a man? (It’s hard to tell, what with that unfortunate hair those people have, but she may even be taller than Mr. Bush — and no woman should ever be taller than a President, for it shows a complete lack of respect.) Well, that is hardly a coincidence that she is as tall as a man! ‘She’ is, after all, a man!
I know this topic is ridiculous but I wanted to take the opportunity to put up a post with the “Is Laura Bush a Transvestite” title in the hope it will be Googled and that it will rile up wingers — because I’m sick and tired of it being okay for righties to throw whatever they want to throw out but we progressives/Democrats/liberals are supposed to bite our tongue and be forever diplomatic.
Enough already.
Oh, and will someone please photoshop a picture of Laura Bush so it looks like this:
Not only that, but there’s an entire category on Google images titled, “Michelle Obama Monkey.“

Hey, Fox, Time To Hand Out a Pink Slip
Just yesterday Fox “News” announced that it was going to start handing out pink slips for on-screen errors. Fast forward 24-hours and one of their readerettes lied about how the public option would be paid for.

Doug Hoffman Doesn’t Win Elections But He Excels at Grandstanding
Republican Doug Hoffman, the guy who lost the NY-23 election to a Democrat and then claimed ACORN stole it, has decided not to ask for a recount. Gosh. When you make an accusation like that it seems to me you should be willing to back it up. Oh, never mind. I forgot. Republicans don’t do that.
Oh, and Hoffman conceded. Again. For the second, or is it the third time?
NBC Won’t Air PETA Thanksgiving Ad
NBC has decided that it will not air an ad created by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) exposing the dark side of turkey farming. Watch the ad here.
PETA wanted the ad to air during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade but it ain’t gonna happen.
I think it’s tragic that we can’t have a discussion about how we treat the animals we eat and I absolutely hate it when a conglomerate decides I’m too delicate a person to see an ad like this. I’m not a child.
“Getting Out” of Afghanistan
I am listening to the radio and I just heard a CBS News reporter say that Obama will speak to the nation next Tuesday and announce that he is sending an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan. The reporter said Obama will “sell” the increase as “a way to get out” of the country.
My God. If you’re as old as I am, you’ve heard that bogus argument before. You don’t send more troops into a country in order to get out. It doesn’t work that way. The longer you stay and the more casualties you sustain the more the thinking morphs into, “we’ve lost so many lives, we can’t pull out now!”
Sounds just like Vietnam.
