NBC Won’t Air PETA Thanksgiving Ad

NBC has decided that it will not air an ad created by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) exposing the dark side of turkey farming.  Watch the ad here.

PETA wanted the ad to air during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade but it ain’t gonna happen.

I think it’s tragic that we can’t have a discussion about how we treat the animals we eat and I absolutely hate it when a conglomerate decides I’m too delicate a person to see an ad like this.  I’m not a child.

That’s great. it’s gross to think about but that’s the point, and it’s far from graphic, so I see no good reason not to run it. Except they don’t want people to think, just consume.
