Why in the world didn’t the White House preemptively release this photo on Wednesday? After all, this gig took place on Tuesday.
Did they think they could keep it a secret? Everyone knows that the way to stay ahead of this kind of thing is to get out in front of it before anyone else does.

We Got Punked Over Tiger Woods’ “Accident”
At 2:45 p.m. ET today, news broke that Tiger Woods was “seriously injured” in a car crash “near his Florida” home.
Roughly 45 minutes later we learned that he was fine.
Now we know that the accident occurred in the “early morning” hours — as in roughly 12 hours earlier.
What the hell’s going on here? Who’s playing us for idiots? The MSM? Tiger Woods? His advertisers who might be trying to generate some buzz? His “publicists?”
I smell a rat.
Report: Tiger Woods Seriously Injured in Florida Car Crash
It is 2: 45 p.m. ET and neither CNN nor Fox are reporting this yet but I am getting Tweets from BNO News that Tiger Woods has been “seriously injured” in a car crash near his home in Florida.
UPDATE @ 3:24 p.m. ET - BNO is reporting that Woods is “fine.”
Crazy.
Freedom of Speech and of the Press is Threatened in Canada
U.S. journalist extraordinaire — one of the few true journalists left in this country — Amy Goodman, of DemocracyNow! was detained and questioned by Canadian authorities on Wednesday for 90 minutes because they were concerned “she was coming to Canada to speak against the Olympics.”
“I am deeply concerned that as a journalist I would be flagged and that the concern — the major concern — was the content of my speech,” said Goodman.
I thought Canada was better than this.
