Fox Talkers Refer to GOP as “We” and “Our Side”

Greg Sargent over at ThePlumLine has a post up about how Fox’s Eric Bolling referred to the Republican party as “we.”
Unfortunately, that is not a new phenomenon. I saw that happen several times when I was at the News Hounds so I dug up a post from December, 2007. Ann Coulter was on Your World w/Neil Cavuto and said:
Um, well, I still think on our side it’s Romney or Giuliani. On their side it’s Hillary or Obama…
Then there’s this from November, 2006 and Neil Cavuto himself:
Let me ask you Senator, I talked to a number of prominent Republicans in this state this morning who were telling me, almost to a man and woman, while we don’t want to see Republicans go down next week, we welcome it to teach them a lesson that they abandoned their principles, that they’re spending too much, that they’re reckless on some of the things they supposedly are not, that they’ve been a contradiction to the values of our party, so a pox on their house. What do you make of that?
The wonder is that they don’t do it more often.
