Don’t Believe Everything You See on TV

The first thing I saw on TV this morning was a report at roughly 7:42 a.m. ET on the Weather Channel about President Obama being “on his way” to Oslo to accept the Nobel Peace Prize. They showed video of him getting off a helicopter and saluting the military guy on the ground (looked like Andrews AFB). Three or four minutes later I switch to MSNBC and they’re showing Obama live, giving his speech – in Oslo.
I guess the Weather Channel’s thinking is that something is true if it’s in the general, sorta, kinda, maybe ballpark of reality.
