Democrats Are Burning All Their Bridges

Watched a few minutes of “The Situation Room” on CNN with that airhead, Wolf Blitzer.  Consensus among the talkers was that the Democrats will “pass something” re health care.  Something.  Something.  Something.  Heard the word over and over again.

So, we go from single payer to a public option to a trigger to opt-in to opt-out to the Medicare-buy-in to passing “something?”

The Democrats were handed a mandate a year ago.  Look at them now.  They are so burning bridges.

I’m old enough not to be surprised but I’m also old enough to have run though a litany of disappointing presidents.  I just about can’t stand it any more. Thinking about checking out (but politics has been in my blood since I was a kid so I don’t know if I can — a curse of sorts).  My concern is for the young people who had, ah, hope and faith and who believed.

UPDATE:  Sherrod Brown (D-Oh) is on Countdown saying that despite the above, “There’s a lot left” in the bill.

You know, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired of listening to bullshit.
