Depressing Day

During the Bush administration I was in what felt like a perpetual state of despair and outrage overload, but at least I had hope. I knew Bush’s term would end, eventually, and I had hope that a Democrat would replace him. Well, supposedly a Democrat did replace him but now I don’t have hope, because I don’t see that it matters much who we elect anymore.
Oh, and I’m still in a perpetual state of despair and outrage overload.
