Blind Loyalty

A group of non-profits, including Common Cause, Democracy 21, the League of Women Voters and U.S. PIRG, have given President Obama an “A“ for its openness. That, at the same time Obama refused to put the health care negotiations on C-SPAN as he promised during the campaign, his administration’s “use of the state’s secrets provision and the incomplete nature of its transparency initiatives.”
Wow. I don’t know much about Democracy 21 but I’m really disappointed that Common Cause, the League of Women Voters and U.S. PIRG were part of the group giving this grade. No, we can’t have everything, but an “A”? I don’t think so.
