Wingers — Desperate to Find Fraud in MA — Are Making Stuff Up

From Ben at Politico:
The group Americans for Limited Government, a conservative D.C. outfit funded by the libertarian real estate magnate Howie Rich, has dispatched several videographers to Massachusetts to “watchdog” potential fraud, and is blasting out reports today.
The group’s work, so far, really embodies the contemporary, partisan notion of the “watchdog,” which describes a class of organizations funded to discover what they already, unshakeably, believe to be true. For Media Matters, that’s pervasive conservative media bias. For ALG, it’s fraud.
And so the group is circulating the video above under the heading, “Report of potential fraud in Lawrence, MA.”
In the video, a young woman reports seeing a voter whose name isn’t on the rolls being told to cast a provisional ballot. It has all the atmospherics of an actual crime report — nervous witness, shaky camera. But the content is, as far as I know, exactly what’s supposed to happen with voters whose names aren’t on the rolls.
Oh God. Here we go.
