“Arguing for a Living”

I don’t watch Oprah in the summertime because I’m outside but I do tend to watch the reruns this time of year because it’s cold and the show is on at 4:00 p.m. my time, when it’s getting dark and I’m winding down.

Anyway, Rosie O’Donnell was on today and she said something that really hit me.  She was talking about the circumstances surrounding her leaving “The View,” and she said the reason she did was because she “didn’t want to argue for a living.”

Think about that.  What kind of person enjoys arguing for a living?  Arguing has its place of course but imagine revving up to go to work — I’m lookin’ at you Sean and Bill  and countless other “journalists” — where you’ll spend your time arguing with people.

Pretty darn sicko when you think about it.
