Good news: After deliberating for just 37 minutes, the jury in the trial of Scott Roeder found him guilty of first degree murder in the death of Dr. George Tiller last year.

And thank goodness the trial, “never became the referendum on abortion that some abortion foes wanted…”

Abortion is legal in Kansas. Period. If you have a problem with that and you want to have a “referendum” on it, you work to change the law. You don’t go around killing people.
