Kid Rock as Expert on Government Policy?
February 17, 2010 at 1:14 PM 3 comments
Just watched Fox’s Megyn Kelly host a segment with Kid Rock captioned: “Polls Show Americans Favor Small Government over Big Government.” Kid Rock as an authority on government policy? Not exactly: Rock admitted: “At the end of the day I’m not that educated in political science.”
That’s okay Kid. Fox isn’t interested in expertise.

He has a right to free speech just like you. And just because you don’t agree with what he says and the channel he says it on, doesn’t mean they aren’t “experts”.
FOX News is the best in the business and the ratings reflect that – period. Kid Rock is successful at what he does.
Why is it that you are tolerant to people with YOUR views but insulting to OTHER views.
When the Dixie Chicks or Madonna or any other Hollywood celebrity speaks out with their point of view, it is truth…..huh? Please…get the log out of your own eye before you cast stones and we’ll all be better off.

When the Dixie Chicks or Madonna or “any other Hollywood celebrity speaks out with their point of view” they aren’t being featured on a “news” show who’s putting them as an expert. Oh,and BTW, Rock admitted he didn’t know much about “political science,” so even he seemed to be uncomfortable with the position Kelly put him in. That’s the point.
