Glenn Beck Apologizes to America For the Lack of Scandal & Dirt in Massa Interview

Just finished watching the hour-long Eric Massa “interview” with Glenn Beck. Poor Glenny. He wanted dirt on Rahm Emanuel SO bad, but the only thing Massa gave him was to say the White House’s denial that the shower incident with Emanuel didn’t happen was a lie; he insisted it did happen, and this non-news at the very end: “Rahm Emanuel has a hard time making friends…it’s my way or the highway.” Far from dishing dirt on Emanuel, Massa even issued what he said was a “sarcastic” apology for saying Emanuel would tie his own kids to a railroad track to get a vote. Massa said instead that Emanuel would tie his kids — Massa’s — to a railroad track.
Massa came off as a perfectly sane and nice guy and he didn’t throw anybody under the bus, except maybe Washington as a whole, when he said nothing will change until we have campaign finance reform. In the end, Beck felt the need to apologize to his audience, apparently for the lack of fireworks and scandal: “America, I think I’ve wasted your time.”
Beck is such an ass.

Oop (see below — don’t know how my response ended up on top). Guess the liberal-haters are upset that Massa came off as a regular guy, instead of some kind of monster.
Oh, and it’s you’re, not your.

I do admit the whole hour was a waste of time. But if you watched the next evening’s show, Beck explained that he had had a phone conversation with Massa BEFORE he had him on the show, and the guy had LOTS of stories to tell. Now, perhaps Massa was lying the whole time (and it’s starting to look like he was, atleast about some thing), and even Glenn mentioned that Massa had lied to him before the show. Or perhaps someone got to Massa and threatened him. I have no idea. But to categorically label Beck an “ass”? Well, that is certainly telling. It means you are so entrenched in your own liberal agenda that you cannot hear another opinion, ANY opinion. How about actually opening up your mind and LISTENING to another viewpoint? Most of us Americans aren’t far left, OR far right. I believe in SOME social programs, for those people who TRULY need it. But I don’t believe in a nanny state. And I think there has to be a middle road between “survival of the fittest”, and give Billy a ribbon for coming in LAST place in the big race, or grading his failing paper with PURPLE pen rather than red, because we don’t want his FEELINGS to get hurt. As a parent, I am tired of school teaching my kids that mediocrity is ok. And I’m tired of EITHER side trying to shove their agenda down my throat, because they know what’s good for me.
