Tea Party Protestors Call Barney Frank a “Faggot” — to His Face

Anti-tax/Tea Party protestors visited the Capitol in Washington, D.C. today.  At one point, during an encounter in the Longworth office building, the openly gay Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA),

rounded a corner to leave the building, an older protestor yelled “Barney, you faggot.” The surrounding crowd of protestors then erupted in laughter.

At one point, Capitol police officer threatened to throw a group of protestors out of the building but that only seemed to inflame them more; and apparently none were ejected.

Calling a gay person a “faggot” only draws attention to the ignorance and viciousness of the person who said it.  It’s telling that the Tea Partiers are so immature they don’t comprehend that when you act like this you only hurt yourself and your cause.  Oh, and, I thought they were Christians.
