What, Exactly, Were the Tea Partiers “Protesting” Today?

The Tea Partiers rallied on Capitol Hill today, calling one African-American member of congress a “nig*er,” spitting on another, and yelling at Barney Frank, “you faggot.“
But never mind that, they think they’re heroes.
Here’s a screenshot of an email I got from them a few minutes ago touting the “tens of thousands of people” (I’m willing to bet it was more like hundreds) who turned out to protest “this government-run health care monstrosity.”
Given their behavior, I wonder how much that “government-run health care monstrosity” had to do with what they were “protesting” today.
