Tweet of the day from Dave Weigel who was at a whopper of a winger gathering today (his tweets about it are priceless!):

Weigel is so diplomatic.

Aldrich wasn’t saying that “this is the typical liberal.”  He was saying that this is the “typical” Democrat, the” typical” unemployed person, the “typical” anti-war person, the “typical” pro-social Social Security person,  the “typical” pro-hey-can-we-count-on-our-local-fire-department person.  Etcetera.

Ahhh.
