News About Egypt

January 29, 2011 at 8:18 PM 2 comments

Reminder: there’s no comparison between the atrocious coverage of CNN and MSNBC as to the goings on in Egypt to that of Al Jazeera.  Watch Al Jazeera here on Facebook.

What’s happening in Egypt (and in the Middle East) is much more complicated and fascinating than MSNBC and/or CNN let on.

The “news” we get here in the U.S. us nothing but awful.

I would like to know what you mean by atrocious coverage? I also did a blog post about how CNN and Fox News covered Egypt. I thought CNN did a great job, while Fox News tried to attack the Obama administration unfairly as usual. What was so atrocious about CNN’s coverage?

    Thanks

Remember, this post went up on January 29. MSNBC and CNN didn’t begin to cover the story in a serious way until the day the camels and horses rode into Tahrir Square which I believe was February 2.

So, that’s what I meant. Artrocious as in dismissive, minimal and/or nonexistent.
