Obama’s “Union Goons”

Last week I posted about the glacial pace of the fundraising of the PAC, the “Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama.”

They have continued to fundraise since then, but today their email included the ad they’re trying to raise money to air.  Here it is:

This is a classic case of tragically uninformed, misinformed brainwashed working people supporting causes that are diametrically opposed to their own interests.

If there are any “thugs” and “goons” in this story, Governor Walker — he’s a quintessential little punk — reigns supreme.

Maybe a day will come when the Tea Partiers realize that this isn’t about Democrats versus Republicans. It’s about the corporatocracy versus all of us.

And may I remind you of this ad released on March 1

by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) and Democracy for America.  Compare and contrast the two.  Seems to me it’s pretty clear the Progressive Change people — the “thug” and “goon” crowd — have the people’s interests at heart.

The cold truth is that the ‘grassroots’ of the Republican party is millionaires. Anyone that makes less than a million a year and votes Republican is just not very bright.

your quote “Maybe a day will come when the Tea Partiers realize that this isn’t about Democrats versus Republicans. It’s about the corporatocracy versus all of us.”

Thank you! Not only do the tea partiers need to be taught this valuable information but so do average Americans. Americans have been duped by being fed a constant diet of propaganda from corporate news. The herd instinct is growing stronger as Americans feel they have to parrot the “popular” political beliefs. They sit in doctors offices and watch FOX news commentators talk about the need to eliminate Medicare while waiting for their Medicare paid for appointment. And, they BELIEVE medicare should be eliminated.

    Keep up the good work!

Yep. I couldn’t agree more, except for the part about Medicare. I saw something about a year ago that showed people who receive Medicare yes, are for cutting it, but they’re so numb (brainwashed) to what’s going on, they don’t realize that the help they’re getting to pay for their medical care IS MEDICARE!

    Unbelievable.
