Surely you heard — how could you not — that McDonald’s supposedly hired 50,000 people today.
CBS radio news aired an interview today: a 43-year-old man with two kids said he’s dying to get one of those jobs.
Got that? A 43-YEAR-OLD MAN WITH TWO KIDS applied for a job at McDonald’s that he hopes to God he gets.
I’m so old I remember when working at McDonald’s was something high school kids did for spending money — they didn’t have a 20-year work history or two kids to support.
This is not a good thing America.
