Drunk Buying at QVC

Everyone knows about drunk tweeting and drunk posting and drunk emailing.  Now there’s drunk buying.

QVC has perfected it.  They wait until late at night and then they dangle hugely expensive items in front of their audience  — we’re talkin’ Mothers’ Day eve no less (guilt, guilt, guilt) — and people who had no intention of buying anything say yes to an $800.00 watch:

Folks, did you wake up this morning intending to spend $800.00 — $800.00 — on a watch?

Don’t do it.
