Rachel Maddow said it all just now as to what the 2012 election is going to be about. Forget the 99ers. Forget jobs. Forget education. Forget healthcare. Forget infrastructure.
Thanks to Bush’s Supreme Court and Citizens United, 2012 is all about:
I’ll put video up as soon as it’s available but ain’t that the truth?
I don’t know about you but I can’t afford to buy my representative. But Bank of America can!
It’s mind boggling how may hurdles have been put in place by the powers that be to suppress the freedom of speech of We the People in the United States of America:
Original version here.
I’m thinkin’ some of you might want to respond to this question (below) from CNN’s Erin Burnett. (Write to her via Twitter here.) I mean, how many times do we bail these people out and how freaking arrogant is it that anyone would think we’d ever consider doing it again? Enough!
Not only that, Europe won’t bring Morgan Stanley or Goldman Saks to their knees. They brought their freakin’ selves to their knees (along with the world financial system) with their hocus pocus trading and mortgage scams.
This is our photo of the day:
We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are forced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from environmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we’re working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent.
Ugh. There is so much pain out there.

If this is how Erin Burnett debuted her new show — Outfront — on CNN last night, you can be sure I won’t be watching:
The show kicked off with Burnett explaining that shewent to Wall Street today to see those protests for myself. I saw dancing, bongo drums, even a clown…. I asked several protesters what it was that they wanted. Now, they did not know…. They did know what they don’t want.
Burnett added that “it seems like people want a messiah leader, just like they did when they anointed Barack Obama.”
The protesters on Wall Street will soon have the protection of United States Marines who will form a human wall between the crowds of tireless protesters and the increasingly unpopular New York cops who continue to appear on YouTubein scenes that twist the insides of patriotic Americans.
The news is welcome, particularly as people continue to learn more about Wall Street and New York City and the nature of the people in the upper echelons. Not only have Americans watched the players on Wall Street shove the nation’s future into their wallets, but there are more specific reasons that the police are behaving in a corrupt manner, they’re being paid off by groups like JPMorgan Chase, which recently donated [pay attention to the paragraph below]:
… an unprecedented $4.6 million to the New York City Police Foundation. The gift was the largest in the history of the foundation and will enable the New York City Police Department to strengthen security in the Big Apple
Strengthen security? This is a war against people who are utilizing their constitutional rights.
Here’s the message Ward Reilly relayed from another Marine, on his facebook page: I’m heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform. I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:
I didn’t fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it’s Congress’ turn.
My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let’s see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets. I apologize now for typos and errors.
I love it.
Sometimes I just want to slap Harry Reid. I mean, come on man!
This is him yesterday talking about President Obama’s “jobs bill:”
“I’m happy to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to improve this bill,” Reid said on the floor Monday. “But I hope the obstructionism Republicans employed the last nine months won’t continue.“
