MSNBC Hires Meghan McCain

The ahem, “lean forward” channel has hired Meghan McCain as a “political analyst:”

It looks as though MSNBC has signed up a familiar new contributor. Via Johnny Dollar comes news that Meghan McCain, the daughter of Senator and former GOP Presidential candidate John McCain, has inked a deal with the network.
McCain made her official debut this morning to talk about the 2012 GOP field, where she said “I am very excited! I didn’t know it was going to be announced, but I am excited to join the MSNBC family.”
Far as I can tell, Meghan McCain doesn’t bring anything to the table other than her last name.
