Women (Not) in Government — USA

As long as we’re taking moves toward dragging women back to the 1930’s here in the good ol’ U. S. of A., here’s a pretty darn shocking fact that I’m sure will make our current flock of Republican politicians get all warm down there in the area at the top of their legs:  The United States ranks 71st in the world for the percentage of women serving in elective office.  71st folks!

We’re behind Malawi, Bangladesh, the Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Sudan and Ethopia for God’s sake.

So, send this post to all your Republican friends and make their day.
