Now Pat Robertson Attacks Sandra Fluke

Pat Robertson today:

You know there was a woman, the law student at Georgetown University who appeared before a congressional committee, and she said that students needed $3,000 a year for contraception and that they couldn’t afford it. As I understand, the Catholic school was supposed to pay for it. Now Catholics say that fornication, if you will, sex outside of marriage, is a sin. This woman is saying ‘I’m going to be committing sin but I want you to pay for my sin.’ Now am I overstating that? Rush Limbaugh got a little bit over the top on that thing but is that what it amounted to?

Do insurance companies ask men if they’re married before they agree to pay for Viagra Pat?

Geezus.  It takes two to fornicate but men are entirely left out of all this.

Wow, I watched that clip. Talk about nuts. Pat Robertson is bad enough, but that other man saying “The Left” has been around since 1790 and its purpose is to destroy the family, and the church, etc…..that’s truly nuts.

It really is. That’s the only word for it — nuts.

I would say let’s work on getting rid of his sponsors too but I think God dropped Pat a long time ago.

The other day I heard he said the victims of last week’s tornadoes were at fault for what happened because they didn’t pray enough. Robertson and his ilk are so dark and medieval.

This is an example of who the voting majority think is a great person, a hero, and his words and thoughts are direct from GOD. When the voting majority out vote the world, the rest of us are subject to their insanity.
I raised girls, I can tell you that birth control should be a National free service, like the polio vaccine. That will never happen, not with the sitting congress who represent all of us.

Great point. Imagine if Obama wanted to vaccinate every child in the United States against polio. The right would come up with some sort of crazy conspiracy theory about that and we’d be like Pakistan is today, with polio running rampant. (Ironically I posted about that a few days ago (below).)
