Ain’t no such thing as climate change? Really?
Just sayin’:
Something’s really, really wrong. Remember the saying, “April showers bring May flowers?” It’s mid-March. The buds on my daffodils are at their peak. I’m expecting flowers in four or five days.
It’s so dry here along the front range of the Rocky Mountains we’re under a fire warning until Sunday night. A fire warning around here doesn’t mean a car might catch fire. It means whole neighborhoods could go up in flames fueled by wind and 7% — yep, 7% — humidity.
For God’s sake, it’s March.
I’ve lived in this area for almost 40 years. The conditions we’re experiencing today don’t usually occur until August. And again, it’s mid-March.
I’m getting kind of scared.

Don’t be scared, just stay informed. I run a form of climate change tracking blog, based on phenological indicators. It is happening, for sure.
Kind Regards
