What Romney Did Wasn’t Bullying, it Was an Assault

The Romney camp and the so-called “liberal media” are framing the story about Mitt Romney and his band of teenaged private high school brats holding down a “presumed” gay man — John Lauber — and cutting his hair off as a prank “bullying.”
Bullying? Really?
Of course they’re going to minimize what happened, but we shouldn’t let them.

Exactly. We’re not talking bullying here. We’re talking a physical assault.

Physical assault is an extreme form of bullying. The most extreme is outright first-degree murder. Like what happened to the young gay man in Wyoming, years ago. I forget his name. Do you remember?
