A beloved neighbor of mine, C, who has breast cancer and lives alone, is having a double mastectomy tomorrow morning.
Love you C!
She’s scared. I wish I could help with that but heck, I’d be scared too.
That said, one of my other neighbors went to mealTrain and set up a localized site where C’s friends are committing to bringing meals to her during her recovery. The “train” is seven days long now but it can (and probably will) be extended.
It’s simple, free and a wonderful idea. Use it for:
