Ronald Reagan Didn’t Visit Israel as President

Israel, Israel, Israel.  AIPAC has managed to make our unconditional support of Israel a centerpiece of this election.  Mitt went there ten days ago to kiss Prime Minister Netanyahu’s ring and to highlight the fact that President Obama hasn’t.

(Don’t get me started on Israel.  For a people who were slaughtered by the Nazis and held in concentration camps to do the same to the Palestinians — I don’t get it.)

But as Romney tries to both get in bed with Israel, diss Obama, and claim he’s Ronald Reagan incarnate, here’s an interesting factiod:  In his eight years as president, Ronald Reagan never set foot in Israel.

Just sayin’.
