Pier House Key West Review

The Pier House resort and Caribbean Spa has been enchanting guests with its understated luxury, private beach and outstanding amenities for over 40 years. The 142 room resort is situated on a 6-acre guarded compound on the tip of Key West, surrounded by white sand beaches, tropical gardens and a sparkling pool. The hotel features three bars, a restaurant, in-room dining, a full service spa, fitness center and top-rated spa. No resort fees are charged.

Pier House Key West Review 1 Wows and Woes

The hotel is in the perfect location, just steps from Old Town Key West. You’re a part of all the downtown action, but have privacy and seclusion when you retire at the end of the night.

If you are traveling for business or need wireless Internet access, this can be a problem. Even though the hotel says it has Internet, it was sketchy at best.

Insider Tips

The Harbor View Cafe has decent food and an amazing view all around. Try the amazingly delectable blueberry muffins and a perfect key lime pie topped with meringue for desert.

The Spa House is one of the noisiest buildings due to its location. If you desire peace and quiet, request another building at check-in.

Author’s Most Memorable Moment

I loved exploring the crazy, loud, energetic town of Key West and retreating at the end of the night to the perfectly quiet and peaceful Pier House. A short walk from town, you feel safe and protected as you retreat to the beautiful, cozy room.

Bottom Line

For travelers that need luxury and privacy in the center of it all, the Pier House is sure to please.
