This, from HSN (the Home Shopping Network) tonight:
OMG. I lived in Fint in the late 60’s and early 70’s. The poor place was half-dead then; trying to figure out how to be a city without needing General Motors. Over time, it failed, for a million reasons, Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich being high on the list. And now Newt’s riding in on his high horse telling Flintites how his Contract on against with America has morphed into “american solutions ideas?” (Meow. How patriotic can the guy be if he doesn’t capitalize “american”?)
Please, please, people of Flint. God bless you. Do your homework. Don’t go there.
Per the Washington Post, Karl Rove will be “interviewed” on Friday, “as part of a criminal investigation into the firing of U.S. attorneys during the presidency of George W. Bush.”
What a waste of time. I don’t get why the media is so worked up about this. At the very least, put the guy under oath — never mind that he shows no sign of being afraid of God.
Over the course of the last 30 years my husband and I have probably spent — rough estimate — close to $30,000 insuring our home and our two cars. A quick scan of my memory reminds me of a claim we made roughly 25 years ago for wind damage that I think garnered something like $2,000.
Bearing that in mind, I stumbled upon this tonight.
What?! Okay. I’m mad as hell now.
Here are six photos leaked to the Sydney Morning Herald several years ago that would be included in the torture photos Obama has decided not to release (looks like Cheney won this round).
I think all the pictures should be released and that this whole thing should be blown wide open, thus this link. It’s about breaking the law (Democrats included).
Nancy Pelosi refused to use the word lie today when she said that the CIA gave her “inaccurate and misleading information” and “mislead the Congress of the United States” when they briefed she and others on “torture techniques” in September of 2002.
Break the barrier Nancy. They lied. Say it. Use that word.
