NHTSA Releases Powerful New Anti-Texting Ad

April 7, 2014 at 1:39 PM 1 comment

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration released this ad on April 3 in an effort to discourage people from texting and driving.

Thousands of people die every year in crashes related to distracted driving.

That’s why cops are out looking for people who text while driving, and that’s why they write tickets — to save lives.
Remember, U Drive. U Text. U Pay.

Will someone please tell me why texting and driving isn’t illegal across the board?  Who’s keeping that from happening?  Cell phone service providers?  Cell phone manufacturers?
