The US Is Turning Into a Hard-Ass, Mean Country

I presume you’ve heard about how Michigan’s Republican-controlled government (and its self-appointed comptroller of the city of Detroit) is turning off the water of destatute Detroit residents.  It’s so bad the affected people there have asked the United Nations for help, claiming access to water is a fundamental human right (ah, yeah, especially when you’re in a state that’s surrounded by the biggest fresh-water lakes in the world).

That said, I’m loving this community action:

Destitute people of detroit

I just gave them $10.  If I was Oprah, I’d give them $10 million.

What the Republican government is doing there is so wrong, so immoral.  Who wouldn’t pay their water bill if they could?  These people just flat out can’t.  They’re destitute.  So we shut off their water?

USA?  USA?  USA?
