Tropical Storm Arthur: The National Hurricane Center Issues First Ever Storm Surge Map

What with Tropical Storm Arthur approaching the Eastern seaboard, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has issued its first ever storm surge map:

Good idea.  What with the rise in sea level due to global warming it doesn’t take a full-blown hurricane anymore, with its high winds, to push ocean waters deep into coast areas.  Folks have to get that.  It could rain like hell and the already-higher sea level could push inland.  Things have changed.
