Mother Octopus Sits on Her Eggs for 4 -1/2 Years

You’ve got to watch this video posted by the Monterey Bay Aquarium yesterday.  It shows their visits to a mother octopus brooding a pile of eggs for 4 – 1/2 years.  Yes, you read that right.  Four and one half years!
