Botox Natural Cosmetics – The Gift Of a Youthful Face

As women, we all too often neglect our selves to take care of other people. This year, do something different and give yourself a treat before you get into the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping for everyone else. Present your face with a tune-up and watch your face return to its once youthful state just in time for the holiday parties.

Maturity is not a gift to our faces. Our face is the only place on our bodies where the muscle is attached to the skin above it causing lines to be etched through muscle action. As we age, wrinkles are formed through excessive muscle movement, volume is lost, and damage is suffered from the sun. The result is furrowed brows, hollowed cheeks, thinning lips, facial discoloration, and parentheses around the mouth instead of in the sentence where they belong. Fortunately, there are ways to reverse the effects of aging.

The following options require little or no recovery time. Plus, none of the options are drastic measures. Botox softens lines in the face. You don’t have to worry about recovery time as the only side effect may be pinpoint bleeding. Injectable fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, and Perlane restore volume lost over time, sculpt lips, and shape facial contours. Slight bruising may occur from a few days to a week. Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid which occurs naturally in the skin and can be the perfect complement to soften the effects of Botox. Laser Peels smooth texture, shrink pores, and remove skin discolorations such as age and sun spots. The outer layer of damaged skin is shed to reveal the smoothness of a baby’s skin. The downtime ranges from a week-end to two weeks depending on the treatment.

Plan ahead for your holiday tune-up scheduling the proper amount of recovery time before the holiday festivities begin. The results can make a remarkable difference in your life. For instance, one parent of a five year-old complained that her child asked why she always looked angry. It was the furrows between the mother’s brows which conveyed a constant expression of anger. After the “mad mommy lines” were softened, this woman’s child was then able to see the warm feelings she truly felt for him. The 5 Minute Nose Job will be done through the botox without any side effects on the face of the person. The lips of the person will be flatten and dropping of the nose tip will be reduced.

We’ve all seen women whose faces look artificially frozen after injections of Botox. However, it is not natural to totally freeze the facial muscles. When the proper amount is administered by a well-trained physician, there is no need to worry about an outcome of a frozen, expressionless face. Furthermore, no discomfort should be experienced as the muscle is relaxed.

All three of the holiday tune-up options repair damage to the face created over time. The concept is to restore the volume and smoothness to the skin without the artificial look of a tight windswept face. An even balance is created between the left and right sides of the face as distractions are eliminated. This year, give yourself a package by protecting your own package. Watch the hands on the clock turn backwards as you move into the New Year looking refreshed, rejuvenated and younger than last year. After all, the best package is you.

How to Grab a Real Bargain at a Yard Sale

Many people attend yard sales because they just cannot resist a bargain. Anything that is marked down can look appealing to people who are looking around to find a good bargain at a yard sale. And for that, there is https://www.moldxpertsnj.com/ that is going to help you with your preparation for a yard sale with the best tips besides the one listed here.

  1. Make a list

This isn’t the same as going to the supermarket and doing your weekly grocery shopping, but you are still a consumer when you go round someone else’s home with the intention of buying something. What tends to happen when you go shopping with no shopping list? That is when you are more likely to place items in the basket that you do not really need. The same is true when you go to a yard sale as well. So think carefully about what you would like to buy. Do you need children’s clothes? Kitchen appliances? Towels? If you have been searching for cheap clothes for months and you see a sign for a yard sale, you could end up finding just what you want.

  1. Budget

It may seem odd to say that you will need a budget when you go to a yard sale, but it is surprising how many people will go home after spending a great deal of money at a yard sale on items they have bought. This is often because it is tempting to see the words “yard sale” and immediately equate that with “bargain” and “cheap”. It is true that most items on sale at yard sales are cheap. But if you buy five bags of items, will you still be within your budget. It is worth considering before you leave the house. Consider limiting yourself to a certain amount of money.

  1. Condition of items

When you attend yard sales you will see items in varying conditions. Some items will look flawless and practically new, while others will have scratches, stains, marks, and fading. If you are looking through clothes, be particularly careful. Look for holes, stains, and evidence of wear and tear. A skirt that is on offer for $3 may seem cheap, but if it is ripped and has a hole in it, have you really saved yourself any money? It will probably end up in the bin. The same can be said for cheap furniture. If a coffee table has a lot of visible marks of wear and tear, it will not really be worth putting in your home, unless you are able to restore it.

  1. Price

The price of items is not always the final price. You can haggle if you feel up to it. I have done this, but I feel uncomfortable doing it! Normally, people are willing to go down a few dollars, if they are really keen to make a sale. But do not take haggling to extremes. Remember that you are probably already getting a good bargain. So learn when to reach a compromise.

  1. Be a good customer!

Half the fun of yard sales is browsing around and chatting with the people who are hosting the yard sale. Ask about the items on sale and have a good look through things. But if you choose not to buy anything, make sure you fold up the clothes you have been going through and put the ornaments back where you found them.

Attending yard sales is a fun pastime for some bargain hunters. If you are well prepared for a day of bargain hunting, you will enjoy yourself even more.

Container Gardening: Growing Success in Your Own Backyard

Perhaps you experienced winter die-back on your lawns this past winter because of a lack of moisture in January, February, and March. I’ve discovered a couple of inexpensive ways to bring back my lawn, which can save you the expense of those overpriced products from the garden shops.

The first and the easiest way for maintenance is to set up round daybeds for outdoors that will make it much much easier for you to keep your plants healthy and in good shape. Moreover, using these daybeds adds to the beauty of your patio as well.

For dead-looking spots that need some help, try dissolving two cups of Epson salts in five gallons of water. Pour this on the troubled spots, let it soak in, then use your garden fork and aerate the spots, digging down about four inches. Fertilize with Jerry Baker’s recommended lawn tonic of 1/2 can of beer, 1/2 can of regular cola, and 1/2 cup of ammonia in a 20-gallon hose-end sprayer. This can be used over your entire lawn.

Look for Epson salts at your local dollar store for small areas, or in the grocery store, for larger quantities. Your lawn will love you for it.

Why not give container-gardening a try this year, though July is a little late for starting one, nurseries will be having sales on hanging baskets to get them out of the greenhouse. Choose containers large enough for your plants to grown into, rather than grow out of and become over-crowded.

The fun of container-gardening is often found in the various pot offerings. Good options are visually appealing groupings of different sizes, shapes, and colors. All containers should have drainage holes, plus a protective saucer of some type placed under the container to keep any drainage from discoloring and damaging the surface on which the pot will sit. Usually, glazed ceramic pots are heavier and will stand up to wind and retain moisture better than their terra-cotta cousins.

Fill containers nearly to the top with a soil mix of peat and pearlite. This mix holds water and won’t settle to the bottom of the pots. A topping of mulch and a slow-release fertilizer will reduce evaporation, and also eliminate regular feedings.

Every year, several new flowers are introduced by nurseries. One that caught my eye was the Calibrachoa. Ask for it by name, or you might not find it. The flowers resemble the petunia but are smaller, and they like acidic soil. Use a tablespoon of vinegar when watering, to prevent yellowing of any new growth. Miracid from the lawn and garden shop works well, too. Once-a-month use is all that’s necessary to produce healthy, hardy plants. In areas of higher elevations and hot summers, evaporation necessitates watering your hanging baskets daily.

The Calibrachoa comes in all colors (yellow, purple, white, pink, baby blue and more). They grow vigorously and thrive if allowed to dry moderately between watering. Compost may be too rich for this annual. These early-flowering, branching plants are full of color and for a real show-stopper, try mixing two colors. One that caught my eye was vibrant pink, almost a raspberry, with lemon yellow. You can plant this lovely flower in Zones 3-11, depending on the species that fit your zone best. They love the sun.

Another popular summer variety that does well in containers is the cascading petunia. Choose from colors of burgundy, pink, or plum. They enjoy full sun and thrive on daily watering in hot weather in order to maintain continuous flowering. Very delicate, petunias can be damaged by rain, but otherwise, they are easy to care for. Monthly feeding with liquid food is needed, and you might want to check for aphids or whiteflies. To keep them away, use a mild spray of 2 tablespoons of baby shampoo and 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a gallon of warm water misted over the plants once a week, another Jerry Baker remedy that has worked wonders on my plants.

Adding a spiked plant or an asparagus fern will add height to your containers. The long, slender blades or leaves of a dracaena spike provide a nice contrast if placed in the back of plantings, while the dainty fern will give a little wispy drama and can be dug up before the first frost and brought indoors as a houseplant.

Good container gardens feature plants that have similar needs. For instance, sun-lovers can and should be planted together because they demand the same kind of care. One possibility is a mixture of pineapple sage, calendula, and nasturtiums with three or four parsley plants used as a fill-in. Parsley works well with these sun-lovers because it can handle some shade. Pair these in a large, deep pot and enjoy them in any sunny spot. The fragrance is fresh and especially pleasing.

Container gardens demand close watering attention. Those containers placed in sunny, hot, or windy places demand twice-a-day watering. Should your plants outgrow their containers, more frequent watering will be needed.

Midsummer is hard on most plants as they begin to show some stress by becoming scraggly and wilted. To help plants show new growth and have lots of new blooms, clip or pinch off dead parts and apply a shot of liquid fertilizer. Your containers will continue their flower displays uninterrupted throughout the summer with patient and faithful care.

If you get a late start this year, then next February or March, buy some seeds, purchase a few gardening books or magazines with pictures of flowers that may appeal to you, get a head start, and by the time weather permits, you will know just what you want to include in your containers come planting season. This is a great way to bring a little cheer to a long winter and is a delightful harbinger of spring to come, too.

Yoga Shorts as Swimwear If You Have an Ample Butt

For being such a small girl, I sure have a huge ass for my size. This means come summertime and swimwear I can’t fill out the tops to save my life, and then spilleth over in those tiny bottoms. Classic bikini bottoms cover the majority of my butt but do little to keep the “quad butt” from happening. Quad butt, if you don’t know, is where your underwear or swimsuit bottoms only cover the first half of your butt, leaving your cheeks to hang out of the bottom, cutting your butt in half so it looks effectively like you have 4 butt cheeks.

Enter swim shorts, which are basically just like bikini bottoms only my ass doesn’t eat them so they don’t look like a thing. Swim shorts also end just at the amplest part of the butt, so it cuts off all circulation and makes your legs stick out like cookie dough from the tube. Yeah, sexy. Oh, and once gravity realizes you are trying to cram your butt into material that is praying not to explode from the mass within, your butt cheeks (one at a time) will creep their way out for air. The added bonus to swim shorts- they make your butt look just like a wide shelf with a half-moon coming out the bottom. Just like this you also have Jets Swimwear that keeps your body in shape as you go out swimming. Moreover, you will have the very best swimming experience with this swimwear. Considering all this, you should definitely try jet swimwear if you are not satisfied with your current swimming costume.

This year, I am ignoring the swim shorts, bikini bottoms (even if they come with a skirt- the cheeks are still bare and it’s breezy here!) and going for yoga shorts. Hot yoga shorts, in particular, are a godsend for ladies with ample bottoms who still want swimsuit coverage. Hot yoga shorts can come as long as mid-thigh and as short as cheeks-hangeth-out and are lowrise and adorable, both over a swimsuit for better butt holding, and alone. Since they are more shape-forming, the butt still holds its original shape, and the material is sweat absorbing, making it almost exactly the same material as regular swimwear.

If hot yoga shorts look too tight for your liking, then regular yoga shorts can do the trick and can be purchased in swimsuit type material as long as knee or calf-length for coverage. Sexier and more appealing than board shorts, yoga shorts can appeal to any body type and still allow a person to feel like they are wearing a swimsuit. The coolest thing? You can finally wear swim shorts that hold your ass in without feeling like you have a huge pig butt! And you won’t be pulling wedgies all day long!

Is Calcium Pyruvate a Weight Loss Miracle?

Walk into any health food store and ask the clerk for a supplement that could be instrumental in aiding weight loss and you will likely hear a laundry list of possibilities. However, one dietary supplement that has been around for a long time and shows some promise is calcium pyruvate.

According to Weight Loss Natural and Alternative Treatments, in the fitness and bodybuilding world, calcium pyruvate (which also sells as sodium pyruvate) for many years was used as a dietary supplement. Many consider it a “gateway compound” in a process within the body called the “Krebs Cycle”. The “Krebs Cycle” is a part of the process in which calcium pyruvate aids in the conversion of glucose to energy and boosts fat metabolism. People call it a fat burner, though it does not have any thermogenic qualities.

Do I Really Need It?

Calcium pyruvate is not a required supplement, as the body makes enough on its own. However, there are some foods and drinks, which contain calcium pyruvate. A single medium apple has about 450 mg of calcium pyruvate; beer and red wine also contain about 75 mg of calcium pyruvate per serving.

If you are not sure about calcium Pyruvate then, you can try coolsculpting. CoolSculpting the thighs is a popular treatment that allows you to get rid of the extra fat that is there on your thighs. This will help you in removing the extra fat that is accumulated in your thighs.

If I Take It, How Much Do I Need?

A reasonable does at therapeutic levels is about 30 grams per day. However, some studies administered up to 44 grams per day. Some calcium pyruvate products also contain dihydroxyacetone, which is another substance, which the body converts into calcium pyruvate.

What Else Do I Need To Know about calcium pyruvate?

As a whole, calcium pyruvate is safe when taken in the suggested doses. There are instances of people who take calcium pyruvate suffering from diarrhea and upset stomachs, but these side effects seem to subside with continued use. There has also been some concern that it may reduce the “good cholesterol” HDL that is a plus for our heart’s health.

Who Can Take It

Because it is safe for most, there are no limitations, except for a few. There are no set dosages for pregnant or nursing women, people who suffer from kidney or liver disease, or children. Thus, if you fall into any of these groups, it is best to consult your physician before proceeding to add this to your regimen.

Weight Loss Studies Using Calcium Pyruvate

According to Pyruvate Natural Alternative Treatments, in some studies conducted on about 150 individuals, found evidence that calcium pyruvate can support weight loss, by changing the composition of the body.

In the study, one-third of the people took 6 grams of calcium pyruvate daily or they received a placebo or no treatment at all. Over the six-week period of the study, everyone participated in an exercise program. Those that took calcium pyruvate lost, on average 4.6 pounds and 2.6% body fat, compared to the placebo and non-treated group. They also found that their muscle mass increased by about 3.3 pounds.

In another six-week study, where the subjects were slightly overweight, the participants took, depending on their caloric intake between 22 and 44 grams of calcium pyruvate in liquid form. They participated in a low-fat diet. Those given the calcium pyruvate lost about 1.5 pounds, as opposed to those on the placebo had no weight loss.

The Bottom Line

It is obvious that calcium pyruvate is not a magic cure. Those that participated in research studies also either exercised or reduced caloric and fat from their diets. There is a possibility that by taking this supplement, it may help to speed the weight loss process along.

How To Create a Romantic Date

You’ve finally met someone you actually really want to impress and are searching to ways to be romantic at your next date. Friends, family and online articles will all give you suggestions about where to go or what to do, but you may find they all seem to miss the boat.

The points that I am going to list out in this article is not something that you can find on your regular dating app but they are based on my own experiences that have worked wonders for me and therefore I am going to share it with you in the hopes that they will prove fruitful to you as well.

I’ve been a relationship therapist for 25 years, and over that time, I have learned that what is romantic to one person may not be romantic to another. So here are some ideas to help you be romantic with that one unique person.

  1. Candlelight dinners and roses may sound nice and may be appreciated, but they lack imagination, and you may not impress the way you hope to. You want to be creative and do the unexpected.
  2. To do the unexpected, you need to listen. That’s right; take the time to listen to what your special someone talks about. If you listen, you will hear about their likes and dislikes and know their unique interests. This will give you ideas for dates that capitalize on those interests. For instance, if your significant other tells you they used to love skiing but haven’t done it in years, you could hire a skiing instructor to help you both get your skiing legs back. You will not only have a great time, but they’ll be impressed that you listened and acted on what they had said. That’s going to feel just as romantic as the actual date. Lots of points here.
  3. Bringing gifts for special occasions is nice and always appreciated. But bringing gifts for no reason is better. And if the gift introduces the evening, the entire date becomes very romantic. Instead of bringing flowers or a gift, have it waiting at your destination. A beautiful arrangement of flowers on the table when you arrive will make any dinner more romantic. Everyone in the restaurant will envy the effort, and she will feel wonderfully special.
  4. Guys often use the electronic signs at ball parks to send messages of love to their date. That’s because they think that it is a very romantic thing to do. You may or may not think so, but why not do the same for them? If going to sporting events is an activity you both do together, make it more romantic for him by doing anything you can to make the date special. Would he like to be a ball boy for a day? Or throw out the first ball at a game? Call the stadium and see what you can arrange. Guys need a little romance, too!
  5. Another great romantic date idea is to stay home and bring in a masseuse for both of you. There aren’t too many people who wouldn’t find that pretty romantic.
  6. Learn to slow dance and teach your partner to dance. Dancing at home can result in a canceled a date and lead to a far more romantic evening. If you sing while you are dancing either your wonderful voice will make the dance more romantic, or the kiss you get to stop the singing will do just as well.
  7. Say “I love you”. Sometimes you just forget how romantic those little words can be.

Be unpredictable. Be creative. Be attentive. Find time for the relationship. Show your mate by the things you do how much you love them as often as possible. Never take their love for granted.

Transportation Security Administration Announces that We Will See More Secure Measures at Our Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is suggesting changes in the security areas of our airports. Oh no, all kinds of people are up in arms over this. Yes complaints from, we will be in line longer, it will take longer, I am embarrassed to have to be patted down, I don’t want to put everything in bags or tubs or take off my shoes. Come on now people lets get together on this okay.

Remember – the 9/11 attacks? They were not the only attacks on America or the American people and now we are seeing it more readily in the airports across our Nation. In the recent past it was places like Ireland, Russia, South Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan that had those terrorist bombers. No longer is the United States void of these threats.

Do you want to lose your life or the life of someone you know in an airline bombing? I know I don’t. I know I get to the airport 2 hours before my local flight and 4 hours for my International flights. I take the time to package those little tiny bottles of shampoo and toothpaste in a single zip lock bag. I also make sure to be ready for that security check. Wearing shoes that easily come off my feet, have my computer bag open to remove that computer into the bin. When they patted me down at the Portland airport on my way to Las Vegas this December I was not embarrassed, I was glad that they made it a point to search someone and show the crowd that it isn’t easy to get past that TSA security check point.

This is indeed a welcome change and especially after a terrorist attack like 9/11, whose wounds have still not healed despite the passing of 20 years since they happened and I have very unpleasant memories about it since I lost a very dear person in that attack so I cannot be more pleased with the security arrangements. Whenever I look up Seattle Airport information (being a resident), I find that it keeps upgrading security measures at regular intervals.

Yes there was an incident at the Newark airport a major hub in the US. It shut down the airport for hours and hours and the customers and flyers were not told over the intercom what kind of problem there was. Why do you need the details? Suffice it to say that if you are detained in an airport, train station, bus station or some other hub for travel it is for a good reason and not necessarily something you need an explanation of.

When the situation at Newark was corrected and the crowds given the go ahead to their planes, everyone was so angry and in such a hurry that many people could have been hurt. That was unnecessary when the gates open flow out with determination and push those in front of you even that old lady in the walker or the little girl with her mom. Get a grip people of the United States; we are no longer living in a safe country. Just yesterday, Ryan Gamble reported it right here on the Examiner, a Bomb Maker right here in Spokane Washington being arrested. Bomb, bomb making chemicals and so much more found in an apartment making it necessary to evacuate the apartment and attempt to keep those around this area safe. Ryan Gamble states that, John D. Raymond is the suspect arrested in this case.

Are any of us safe? I for one am thankful of those TSA guys who pat us down and sniff our shoes. Yes a job that is filled with danger, angry passengers blaming them for doing their job. That job of keeping you, the angry passenger, safe on the airlines you have chosen for vacation or work related travel. Perhaps a thankless job that certainly doesn’t pay enough to put their lives on the line each day for strangers they don’t even know. Those TSA personnel are just like you and I, they chose the job – why because they need to support their family. Unlike the fireman, policeman, solider, or EMT who chooses the job because they know the danger and their heart is on their sleeve and their duty is to serve and protect. Let this country protect us from ourselves and let the airport security do their job. Stop all the whining about a few extra minutes in line or perhaps a few extra minutes of thought when getting

Separated Shoulder, is Surgery the Only Option?

About a year ago, I was snowboarding at my local mountain, it was a very busy day and there were many people riding the terrain park that should have been watching from the side or on another part of the mountain. I was run into by a careless rider and ended up hitting the rail I was approaching before the incident. After riding down the mountain and sitting out a run in the lodge after my bad fall, a kind family asked if i was okay and then noticed my shoulder, after seeing it they abruptly rushed me to the ski patrol where it was determined I was in shock and had either broken my clavicle or had an AC separation. I was then sent to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a high grade 3 to a low grade 5 AC separation (approximately 300% vertical movement of my clavicle).

This was devastating, both for myself and my golf team whose season was starting in around 3 weeks. I was referred to a few different orthopedic surgeons and visited 3 of them for different opinions. One told me surgery was a necessity, another told me it could hurt me more to get surgery, and the last surgeon (who I ended up staying with) told me I could choose either to have the surgery or to rehabilitate my shoulder and see how it felt and if it improved over time. Not only did I get 3 different opinions on what I should do regarding surgery, but all 3 suggested different types of surgery.

I ended up deciding to hold off on the surgery, it wasn’t an immediate necessity and I didn’t feel as though I had the time to give up for rehabilitation of the surgery. I went to physical therapy and had regular check ups with my surgeon to make sure that everything was healing as it should. Within 2-3 months I was back to playing golf, wakeboarding and playing tennis among all the other sports I grew up playing. I still have occurrences of pain and some limited mobility and strength than what I used to have, but it is continuing to improve every day.

That is my story, and after dealing with the 3 month long situation before I was able to get back to being able to perform more physical tasks, I found many things that helped me out and I’m glad I did, and found things that I knew could’ve been handed differently to help my recover faster.

What I did right and would suggest for anyone in this situation would be to find a good surgeon and stick with them, but always get a second or even a third opinion. A range of opinions will help you get a better idea of what is going on and while help you decide on which option you should go with.

The next thing you need to make sure you do is that you attend every physical therapy session and work as hard as you can during them. The better you do in your physical therapy sessions the faster you will recuperate and the faster you will be back to your normal routine. In addition, aside from the physical therapy, being informed by your surgeon about the therapy is also important. Hence, for surgeons, it is crucial to use these 10 plastic surgery marketing tips.

Even though I had opted out of getting surgery there are many pros and cons to both options that I learned from talking to many surgeons and others who have gone through the same thing. Without the surgery, you will still experience occasional pain and a bump will for in your shoulder as a result from the clavicle not being attached to your shoulder by your AC ligament. Your range of motion and strength will be significantly lower at first but will gradually build up with patience and work. However this is generally the fastest recuperation time depending on the severity of the injury.

With the surgery you may still experience occasional minor pain or discomfort, however there will be no visible bump from your clavicle with most types of surgery. The range of motion will depend on the type of surgery and to get a more exact idea, ask your surgeon about specifics of it. Getting surgery tends to have a longer recuperation time and with many surgeries you are at risk to injure your shoulder again. There is a general rule of thumb where on a grade 1-2 AC separation surgery is almost never needed. On a grade 4-6, surgery is almost always needed. A grade 3 injury is a grey area, depending on the severity it doesn’t matter too much which way you decide, and remember, if surgery does not feel right at the time, it is always possible to get it done later in life.

In the end, every decision is unique and you must determine what is right for you, so talk to your surgeon, and then ask another one for a second opinion, and I wish you the best of luck.

Low Back Pain & Hip Pain: Ways to Improve Mobility in Hygiene Tasks

When suffering from any type of hip or low back pain, often we find even the most simplest of tasks can be challenging. For adults who suffer with the chronic pain in the hips and the low back, even tasks as simple as rising out of a chair can be complicated.

In addition to mobility, many low back pain and hip pain sufferers also report a common impairment in the ability to perform basic necessity of hygiene. Bathing, showering and dressing can be greatly impaired requiring many chronic pain sufferers to learn new methods in achieving these crucial activities of daily living.

Bathing, for example, is often impossible as the individual, who suffers from low back pain or hip pain, will find great difficulty in bending and lowering the body into a bath of water. For this reason, when suffering from a chronic condition, it may be necessary to modify the home bathroom to include a walk-in shower. When this is not feasible, either financially or structurally, purchasing a shower bench or shower chair may provide a nice alternative however difficulty stepping into the bathtub may still be challenging. Spine and scoliosis center Austin would always recommend to look for the right treatment method for you.

Of equal importance, and also in line with the modifications to a bathroom, patients who suffer from low back pain or hip pain may require an elevated toilet seat as most homes, today, are built with lower toilet seats often leaving the chronic pain sufferer in even greater pain when attempting to use the restroom. While elevated toilet seats, with attached handrails, provide for the greatest ease of mobility, when not financially possible, consider purchasing other toilet seat options including those may from plastic cushions.

And, to the amazement of many family and healthcare professionals, the person who suffers from low back and hip pain can often find ways to dress themselves with a few simple techniques. One such item, a sock donner, can provide freedom to perform regular dressing activities from putting socks on to even assistance with putting on pants and pick up items that have fallen on the floor.
